32nd Street Parade in Zürich Set to Electrify the City

The world’s largest techno parade returns on Saturday, August 9, 2025, as Zürich gears up for the 32nd edition of its iconic Street Parade.

Each year held on the second Saturday in August, the free-entry event transforms the bustling lakeside into a high-energy spectacle of electronic music, with over 30 Love Mobiles, eight vibrant stages, and more than 200 national and international DJs and artists performing across different sounds including techno, house, drum’n’bass, dubstep, trance, and more.

Under the theme “Live Love, Love Life,” this year’s Street Parade embraces its founding values of peace, tolerance, freedom, and unity – a message the organizers hope the crowd will dance into the city with pride and joy.

Beyond the official parade route stretching from Utoquai along the lake, the festivities spill over into Zurich Music Week, which features concerts, workshops, and performances in the days leading up to the Parade.

Big crowds are expected once again— in past years attendance has hovered around 920,000 people, making Street Parade a cultural and economic highlight in Switzerland’s events calendar. This year promises sunshine, beats, and community spirit as Zürich comes alive.
