ZOA 2025 Brings World-Class DJs to the Stage
Zürich’s premier summer festival, Zürich Openair, returns this August in a sprawling dual-weekend format (August 22–23 & August 29–30, 2025) with a dynamic blend of chart-topping names and electronic music heavyweights, especially across its major DJ stages.
On Weekend 1 (August 22–23), the Main Stage features DJ luminaries such as Tiësto closing out Friday night at 00:30 and Anyma headlining the Saturday 00:30 slot. Meanwhile, across the pulsating Dance Circus stage, acts like Eli Brown, HI-LO, Reinier Zonneveld, Elderbrook (DJ set), Lava & Ash, and dance-pop maestro Duke Dumont hold sway with early evening sets into the late-night hours. Adding even more energy to the lineup, James Hype brings his signature blend of house and high-octane basslines to the stage, ensuring one of the weekend’s most talked-about performances.
For Weekend 2 (August 29–30), the intensity ramps up with electronic titans Boris Brejcha and Goom Gum taking center stage—Goom Gum, the renowned DJ duo known for chart-topping releases on Afterlife and support from luminaries like Solomun and Tale Of Us, steps in at 21:30 on the Dance Circus stage. The Main Stage meanwhile features Boris Brejcha closing Friday night, and Saturday night explodes with The Prodigy wrapping up the evening at 00:45.
Overall, this year’s festival melds global pop icons like Shawn Mendes, Halsey, and Post Malone with a cutting-edge lineup of DJs—offering fans both high-energy club beats and headline spectacle throughout the weekend.
